Renowned for their kind nature, St. Bernards are great with children and are known for being gentle, patient, and protective, making them excellent family pets. Despite their size, they have a calm and easygoing nature but do require adequate space. They are moderately active, enjoying walks and playtime, but are not overly energetic. Regular grooming is essential, especially for the long-haired variety, to maintain their coat and manage shedding.
